Expo Dubai will be the first world exhibition to take place in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia region and the first in the Arab world. It is expected that due to the spectacular celebrations of the Golden Anniversary, the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab
Emirates, it will be different from previous world exhibitions. The organizers expect an average of 25 million visitors to visit the exhibition. Participation in the Dubai Expo was confirmed by 192 countries.
The main theme of Expo Dubai „Connecting Minds, Creating the Future“ is a symbol of innovation and progress. According to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the main idea was designed to reflect a vision of progress and development based on common purpose, determination, and cooperation.
Following the main theme, three sub-themes „Opportunity“, „Mobility“ and „Sustainability“ have been created, which allow countries to present their story through the theme and to promote synergies in inspiring partnerships, progressive ideas, and creative global cooperation. Subthemes point to the critical state of today and its needs, as well as create space for global dialogue and new ideas
